Is luke gonna bust out some old school Kung-Fu on Threepio or what? I wonder if the hair in Luke's room comes free of charge?

Kinda cool though, never seen anyone make a model of that before.

It may be detailed and a briliantly scratchbuilt piece, but the paint job in places (especially on the figures) looks like it was done by a 6 year old IMHO.

There's no doubt that this is a nicely done, adequately finished model with A LOT of hours in it. The seller, however, is deluding himself if he thinks he can sell it at that price. Perhaps if it were a study model for the original "Star Wars," but as is, it ain't gonna happen. If I were the builder, I'd just hang onto it and display somewhere in my house for people to admire.

It's a very good idea, but executed rather sloppily, and incredibly overpriced.

"Buy now" at $3,800 USD? Riiiiiight....
And what does the "one bid" of $2,800 mean? Has someone actually bid that amount, or is that just set by the seller? I know nothing of the evil ways of eBay.

Oh well, I wish the seller the best in his/her endeavors.

Ummmmm...Okay...$3,800 is a bit on the insane side of pricing. I commend his effort but the seller needs to get his head out of the clouds on pricing. It just isn't worth any cost.....sorry to say that.

It would be silly not to try and get what you want out of it. If it is worth not selling to him, so be it. The worst that can happen is it doesn't sell.

If I could sell models and dios for that kind of money I'd do it full-time and make about $30 an hour.

"ddduuuuuuhhhhhhhhh... I'm a mo-de-ler." This is what he was thinking when he put that price in. But hey, If I were George Lucas, I'd buy it.

The sad thing is, is that after no one buys it, it will cost him even more for the listing fees.
