A while ago I did 3 (actually one from my son, and 2 from me) of the PL Enterprise kits. Put on the same display board. Well it didn't take long for the kits weekness to show thru.

The stand mounting to the ship. The Klingon ship has the same weekness. This weekend I overcame this weekness.

I used my pinvise and a drill set to drill 2 small holes in the base, and 2 corrasponding holes in the ship. Then superglued a 1/32 alum rod into each base, and then CA glued the rods into the ship.

Presto. All ships mounted to their respective bases. Much more secure than OEM.
