new cylon raider ship resin kit
Posted by flaver on Thursday, October 6, 2005 6:08 AM
Just wondering if anyone can help me.

I remember seeing a site which sold this kit, but can't for the life remember which one. I know it's not starshipmodeler.com, anyone know?

Thanks

Federation Models has it, produced by Howling Wolf. Been meaning to pick that up myself, but the $150 price tag makes me hesitant.

Yup, Federation Models has a whole slough of resin sci-fi stuff. I've never bought anything resin, and know very little about it. But them things sho-nuff are pricey!

I personally like putting all the little bitty-bits together myself!

Thanks Linda, but that is the original cylon raider. It is the one at federation models, under Howling Wolf Products in the model section.
$150.00 man that's a little tough.

Anyone know where I could find plans for scratch building? lol
Would be cheaper.

Hi, I am currently building the Howling Wolf Cylon Raider. It is probably the best resin kit I have ever seen. I have made a few additions to the kit. Hopefully my version will be good enough to goup on Starship Modeler soon. Drop me a line if you would like to know anything about the kit. Cheers, Chris

Hey Chris how 'bout some pics. I'd love to see it unpainted, if possible. Thanks.

Hi Steven, check out, www.squaremodels.com
He has a great build up article on the new Cylon Raider, the new Galactica and a few others. Incidently, Kip Hart, who did the Cylon Raider Master has almost finished his next BSG subject, a 30 inch Cylon Basestar. Cheers, Chris

You're a bad man Cobywan! Now I have to justify to a heavily pregnant wife just why we need your Battlestar to go with Kips Basestar! I didnt get your smaller one as I was waiting for the big one. Looking forward to it. Cheers, Chris

I second That! Can't keep up with all the new stuff coming out! It helps that my wife is into the show though. Thanks for pointing out Sean's build up, Chris. I had forgotten about his site.
