Hasegawa YF-19 Valkyrie
Posted by thevinman on Sunday, October 16, 2005 10:33 PM
After a long break from modeling, I've finally gotten back in the saddle. Propeller [8-]

My current mission is a Macross 1/72 Hasegawa YF-19 Valkyrie. I'm almost ready to finish the main assembly and start the primary painting process. I have a brand spankin' new AB on order (Badger 100LG) and I'm itching to get it and try it out. Big Smile [:D]

More pics to come as I make some more progress.

For now, it's going to be stock with some minor weathering. I didn't have plans for the extra weapons set, but it's a tempting idea. Smile [:)]

Thanks!

I ordered mine from http://www.valkyrie-exchange.com a long time ago. It was $35 total w/ shipping. But, I don't think they have any in stock anymore. Your best bet is Ebay at the moment.

You could also use this link to do a Froogle: http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=yf-19+1%2F72&btnG=Search+Froogle&show=dd

As far as the directions are concerned, mine are also in Japanese. Don't worry about it. The numbers are still numbers and the paint/color table is in English. The rest is pretty self-explanatory.

Probably something over in Macross World forums but I don't know and I'm not a member over there. Just lurk every once in a while. If you decided to start one here at FSM though (hint, hint Wink [;)]) I would join for one anyway.

www.hlj.com is a good source. Takes a while to get to your door, but the prices aren't bad and they've got a good selection.
