I remember seeing a toy liquidator store a couple years ago overwhelmed with AMT Bird of Preys and Fiber Optic DS-9 models. I had bought one and closeted it, but it has disappeared since. Wondering now if they still have any.

Local Hobby Shop. The AMT/ERTL BOP is about to be re-popped soon, along with the 2 1/2500 scale Enterprise sets and the Adversary Set.

that's not a bad price really considering the scale of it, i would grab it if i were you seeing as how the klingon BOP is rather hard to find especially the amt/ertl one.

Anybody have any info on this thing? It was going for 7,000 yen (about $62 USD).

Be still my beating heart.

Brian, you know my weakness for Klingon models, esp the BOP.

Sorry that's what I meant. That's what I get for typing while kids are bothering me. They have popped up on E-bay for hundreds, so you might consider it.

I've never seen a Bandai BOP, either.

I'm talking about a Tsukuda BOP in this thread, Steven.
Are they perhaps the same kit?
Or did you mean to type Tsukuda?

Busy on their 1/4 scale Nausicaa and she needs a bit of work and care to get her looking decent. Detail is failry soft for a vinyl kit too.
Reckon she would be typical quality for a Tsukuda Vinyl kit.

Sorry, for not being able to assist more.

Thanks for the reply, Zen!
I do have a bunch of other Tsukuda vinyl stuff, mostly Godzilla and Gamera-oriented kits, but I wasn't aware they dabbled in Trek as well. I've also learned they did a vinyl Excelsior kit, too.
