awesome! that was my favorite episode. the figure should come with accessories: big fake plastic rock and bamboo cannon. i think if i ever painted that model i'd add some chipping paint effect with plaster underneath. Big Smile [:D] yours looks great though.

Now now, keep it straight... Trandoshans look a lot like Gorns. Gorns were first.

Always like the old Gorn Captain. But he was just a bit too rigid and slow in his movements. Sorta like comparing the old view of dinosaurs to the Jurassic Park/warm-blooded dinosaur theory, I guess.

Good to see the old gorn getting a facelift. How old is this figure, where did you get him, etc?

THE GORN (7 PICS)

Hi All

It's been a long time since I've actually posted anything so thought I would show you a Gorn figure that I have redone.
I got the artasylum Gorn super glued his joints and then used Green stuff(GW) and puttied up his joints and then sprayed him with matt black.
After he dried I started painting with Vallejo paints I used different greens until I was happy with the way he looked then I gave him a wash of 2 parts white ink and 2parts green ink and once that dried gave hima dry brush of different greens until I got the desired colour.
The tunic was painted gold and then the brown.red/orange and gold patches were added then I gave it a dry brush of gold and khaki.
