TOS 1701 Part of TNS RagTag Fleet

Check it out:

I was doing ScreenCaps to send to StarshipBuilder.com: http://www.starshipbuilder.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro - and anyone else who might want them, just shoot me an email! - and noticed that at the closing of the Miniseries, there were two Colonial Movers ships in the RTF when we get our first glimpse of Galactica w/the RTF. So, I got curious to see what all was out there lurking w/in the confines of the RTF and noticed the above. I used Adobe Photo Deluxe Business Edition 1.0 that I picked up some years ago to first crop a section that looked sort of like a TOS Constitution, then enlarge it and play around w/the hue & contrast a bit. What I got was the above image.

Wonder what else those folks at Zoic Studios thru in to the background of the RTF? We got to see Serenity from "Firefly" in the Miniseries as it comes in for a landing in the scene where Roslin learns she's got breast cancer. Think there's another Firefly-class transport lurking in the RTF? Smile [:)]

Of course you realize that this means we can add a TOS Enterprise to any RagTag Fugitive Fleet diorama we might build. Big Smile [:D]

No photoshop prank, I promise. One of the animator's at Zoic Studios who worked on the Miniseries and Season One is Lee Stringer. Lee is a BIG Star Trek fan, as are apparently most of the folks at Zoic.

I was recently informed that Serenity is indeed a part of the Rag Tag Fugitive Fleet and that there's a Nostromo ("Alien") in there, as well as might be an Eagle from "Space:1999" and who knows what else in the background! Lee also recently mentioned at StarshipBuilder.com that there's not only the Botanical Cruiser as part of the RTF, but another BC w/o the agrodomes.

Sorry, dude. I have no clue as that's the first I've heard of that one. I know that supposedly the TOS Enterprise is in the "traffice" over Coruscant in Ep. II, tho I've never seen it.

Not sure of that one, but the Enterprise from TNG does cameo in Episode 1:

Screen clips from some guy's VHS aren't the clearest thing obviously. ;) But check out the movie yourself and draw one's own conclusions I'd say. Peruse www.theforce.net for many more 'cameos' on the movies. (I didn't find this one mind you, but remembered seeing this mentioned years back)

Looks like the movie Enterprise to me. The nacelles don't looks round enough in front. ILM did the effects for the ST movies and series except TOS. Wouldn't be to hard to sneek in cameos seeing as the company does both series effects.

Sorry, but that definitely ain't the E-D. That looks more like a Y-Wing than the E-D. The Galaxy-class starships have a very distinctive shape and that looks nothing like it. Isn't the Y-Wing, either, as the front section of the Y-Wing doesn't rise up that high, either.

Actually, it sorta looks like one of my Movie Era kitbashes....
