1/1000 Constellation built-up
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, November 7, 2005 12:39 PM
It's not very offten I get to build up kits anymore........especially ones I really like, so I though I'd show this one off. This is , if you can call it, "box stock" no further mods were made to the conversion or kit other than the broken bussard dome, and clipping of the rear intercooler tubes in the port side engine. I've been waiting to do this one for a loooooooooong time :)

I like it! Now you need to build the "Doomsday Machine" itself!

As I soon receive my old AMT 3 ship kit (Enterprise, Klingon, Romulan) I am considering the Polar Lights kits as well and doing this sort of thing with one of those.

Is that the modification kit for the PL?  Or did you hack it up yourself?  Either way, a fine ship and modelling job!

No, It's a complete conversion kit all major damage is already done on the replacement parts. Some additional "wrecking" is requires but it's minimal. Re-read the intial post and you catch the drift. ;)

duh... got it.  Just saw the conversion kit message thread and finally clicked in my head.

So, please let me know - e-mail - how to get one of these?  May have to try it your way and not do the damage myself.

Nice build up. Very convincing.
