Definitely a big budget kit, but I can't get enough of just eyeballing it.

Stay away from the ERTL kit if you can. The fit is a bloody nightmare, but if your're on a budget and you're relatively skilled it produced an excellent kit.Wink [;)]        But stock up on putty first!!!!  Tongue [:P]

Check at your local Walmart. I picked up the ERTL Kit there for $20.

In addition to the aforementioned RC2/ERTL kit, Odyssey Slipways also sells a small one - no clue how long, exactly - that looks pretty good by the few pics I've seen of the kit.  I think it would be about six inches long, at 1/10,000 scale (I'm too lazy to figure up the correct length at that scale).

Check out your local hobby shop as well as the major online vendors. RC2-ERTL has recently started reissuing many of the Star Wars kits. You should be able to get the star destroyer for ~$20. I would look at places such as ehobbies, hobblinc, greatmodels and the like. Enjoy!

there's the ertle kit and a few other private manufactures (molds), but the later ones are very expensive.

Hi all

Quick question: what kits are available of the Imperial Star Destroyer of Star Wars fame?

Cheers
