1:1 Century Phaser

This was a 23rd Centruy kit i built 4-5 years ago. I painted it the gray scheme. I don't remember what season the all grey scheme was used. I put electronics inside and made the trigger function by using a micro switch and the kits original button, a Superbrite red LED behind barrel lights it up. The hand unit comes off and it works  by moving the thumbwheel forward, it "fires" a Superbrite LED.

The thumbwheel is off a radar dectector, as the kit had a half wheel you just glued on. It also has sound, both units has speakers in them. I used the phaser sound chip of a Trek key chain. Not very loud though. But this is when the kit first started to appear and I didn't have much to work with. Now you can get all kinds of boards, which leads me into thinking about doing another kit. Maybe the all black version.

I just remembered, it was second season they used the greys.

It's set for campfire, so it's nothing more than a Zippo. No worries.
