Spaceships
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, July 26, 2003 11:16 PM
Hello. I've figured that I've done enough lurking about.
Can anyone tell me where I might find pictures of space ships and explanations on how the things work? I'm writing a novel where half of it is like Star-trek, except I have no idea how a ship like that operates. Sad [:(]

Thanks,
Aquila Ice~

If you want technical info in print there's also "Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise" and the Technical Manuals for Star Trek TNG and DS9. The DS9 book focuses on the station, but has a section on the Defiant. "Mr. Scott's Guide" has the simplest explanations, but is pretty rare nowadays.

You could also try a site called Maximum Defiant.

While Starship Modeller is where I live, I often find that Solar Flare is a better forum for tech and theory of space travel technology, especally startrek.
