Nice shot Big Smile [:D] Looks good. imho I think a few more phaser blasts along the starboard saucer section is needed to complete the look. Just too clean thereWink [;)]

Very realistic trashing of the old gal.

A littel off topic but in the the hobby shop yesturday I saw this frame work that is intended to go around those ladders on the side of grain and water towers which would look great as the skeleton of a 1000 scale Constitution nacel. This was over with the Plastruct and is intended for use in building railroad dios. You wouldn't need it but still soemthing to keep in mind for future scratch building and battle damage..

There wee several TOS "Connies" that were destroyed by the M-5 Computer  in the episode "The Ultimate Computer". That would make a cool dio. The Enterprise lashing out at her sister ships. Maybe even make some slight modes to the other ships.

Fish-Head Aric, I think you might be right on the nacelle. I just pulled my NCC-1701 (no bloody A, B,C or D) which I'm planning to build up one of these days.

Kevlar, that's really sweet!

I have been eyeballing the pics of the Constellation modifications, and looking at various shots from different damaged Enterprises from the movies, because I am seriously interested in a blasted ST-TOS era ship diorama with several ships in play.  Since I have the old Enterprise/Klingon/Romulan 3-in-1 set, I was thinking of making something of those.  Back in the 1970s as a kid a friend and I bought a number of these kits (they were really cheap) and used to battle-damage them with candles and matches, so have always wanted to take it to a more intense level of detail.

Thanks much for sharing this excellent work!

Only one question... Isn't that nacelle showing the wrong side to the outside?

Well I decided to take one of my older PL connys and make a diarama with it. The story behind why I am is doing this is one, the model really did get destroyed by falling off the shelf and two, well I wanted to really damage one of these babies so I am taking a stab at it.

First thing I did was map out what I wanted damaged and how I [thought] it may look like behind the exposed decks and hull, then I started to remove the unwanted plastic, which wasnt to hard since some of the model got broken in the fall, and placing the beams and decks and floors wear i knew you would really be able to see them.....and this is where I stand right now....

and here is a little better look at the damage on the saucer.

after I get this model done, I am gonna destroy a D-7 and have a good clean looking Conny comming to the aid of the damaged ships. no title yet for the diarama but ill keep you all posted on how it is turn out :)
