Well there's plenty of farm critters in 1/100, and people too.Big Smile [:D]

I've been over to the StarShip site a few times now and Thomas seems to have settled on the 1/100 scale Serenity due to size and expense constraints. He states that a 1/100 scale (about 20 inches long) would cost half the price of a 1/87 scale (about 28 inches long) to produce and retail.

Sorry guys, no HO scale diorama's and no cows Wink [;)]

Wash "Curse your sudden, but inevitable, betrayal."

The movie and series are great.  There are several Serenities in the works including an official license version is resin (about 4" long and not too much detail).  Sounds like Thomas finally decided on the 1/87 (HO) scale version for the kit he is producing.  Know of a couple other guys working on making kits (10-12" long).  They post over on Starship Modeler.

Pretty interesting.  Cannot wait to find out exactly which ones he will go with.  Even the mockup looks pretty impressive.  Woody, have you heard anything about the series?  It was an very good movie.  To bad the Shepard and the pilot (forget his name) died off though.

Is anybody building any models of the movie/series of Firefly? Serenty looks like it might be a nice looking model. Does anyone know if the series is going to continue on the Sci-Fi Channel?
