Hey gang!

Part 3 deals with constructing a detail subsection:

Part 3

Part 2 deals with construction using household items and styrene bits, and discusses tools to help make mass repetition of shapes easier. It includes clear 3D illustrations and photographs and of course, descriptive text.

Here's Part 2:
Part 2

If you missed it, here's part 1:
Part 1

Cheers!

Wow!  I really like!

Now I get a good idea how a low-budget show like Red Dwarf could cobble together such a fantastically detailed monstrosity for a ship!

My son was bugging me about how to go and make something like what you show here from scratch.  You may have just provided a highly worthwhile "how-to" that covers everything from ingenuity to practicality.

Thanks much for sharing.

Definitely a will-do thing.  He's wanted to try and make something from scratch more than anything, even given the handful of model kits he's not touched but wants to do as well.  He and I looked at your site last night together and it's a definite thing in his head.

So, gonna git on it!

Thanks, Terry for your kind comments. I'm working on part 3 right now, so hopefully in a few weeks, I'll have that up.
Take care.
