Looks great! I just got mine last weekend. I may start it this week.

Any problems with it?

Thanks all, I did not have any problems at all except what colors to paint it because reference is scarce.

I did have an idea that was a little too late to do on this one but maybe someone might do it, replace the kit tracks with some other more accuate? or more detailed tracks like from fruilmodel maybe? I think the king tiger would work, the tiger 1 is too small.

Thanks! It went together real well, its just the lack of clear reference material to go by and what does a droid tank in the desert or the tropics look like???

stipp,

What are the overall dimensions of this? I found a site that said this thing was 20" long. Is this true?

stipp, I have a model of the same type, what did you do about the seam on the track, and did you add anything on the interior?

Hey guy, All I did to the track is file and file some more, the track is awful, if i had thought about it sooner i wouldve replaced it with fruiltrack or something similar for the added detail and coolness it wouldve added, and no i didnt do anything to the inside because you would not see anything in it you could pack it full of mud or something like that.

Looks good, although some drybrushing bare/worn metal on the tracks might help.  I have four of these and haven't decided which direction I want to go for paint schemes.  Maybe a wehrmacht 'what-if', or make them all look like something from Warhammer.  There were mentions of replacing the tracks, but I don't see how since they're all molded in.  That seems like it would take a lot more work than it's worth.

Why isn't phonics spelled like it sounds?

Anything is posible, you just build a frame work for the tracks to glue to and ther e you have it, not hard at all.Smile [:)]
