Hello! After a while not posting here, these are the final shots of my latest work, a 1:6 bust of Mel Gibson's first popular character.

Nice looking bust.  I find it a little ironic that such a scruffy looking character, when unpainted, would have such a pristine look, like some kind of Greek god or Roman emperor or something.

Yeah! You're absolutly right :)

Hope it will become more ragged and dirtier after painting.

Thanks panzeriv, I already know that. It was just to avoid any copyright matters if producing it as a garage kit :)

It's mainly made of an A+B epoxy putty, with an inner carved polystyrene-foam armature.
Here some approaches:



Starting the putty "skinning"




The head shown is a polyurethane copy of the original (that was the first thing I did).
