Master Grade Zaku II F2 Custom

was at the mate's place to finish off a joint project and while was there took the snap of his previous work... he said it's Zeta Gundam Ver Ka of sort... tongue.gif

zeta ver ka

Well enough for the off topic.
Here's the what we were working together: joint project between mate of mine and me - he built the kit and I painted it... It's easier since he can build the kits at his leisure time and I cam come over on weekends to paint the thing with my trusty air brush combo... (took few weeks to finish though.

The kit is basically BOOB but he had an idea of replacing the shoulder shield with another shoulder spike armour and basically make it more bulky that it really is... Other than that no other mod was done... this shows how good Zaku II F2 kit really is compared to the old Zaku II which I used in my now suspended diorama project. Talk of the diorama project I may ask him to finish it off though there's the danger that he wanted to keep it to himself rather than give it back to me... I have to return the Zaku II F2 Custom once I decided on the type of base... (Contrast to his wish I may end up making very simple base with Zeon logo between two Acrylic plates held together using bolts...

cheers mates
all I did waz painting and the buiding itself was his part - after all it's pretty much BOOB except the shoulder armour bit... :p (and I still need to come up with an idea for the base to put this one on)

thought of acrylic plates jointed together with bolts but he wanted more of semi-diorama style base so debate continues...
