ROTS Jedi Starfighter
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, March 4, 2006 9:41 PM

Hi.  I just bought a ROTS style Jedi starfighter.  I don't have a copy of the movie yet so I don't know what base color to paint it.  Any suggestions?

Also, does any one have a place that they have bought the RG Republic Destroyer?  How much did it cost you?

Thanks.

If you can get a copy of the second volume of the Clone Wars cartoons, Mace Windu has a purple one which looks cool.  If you see how Anakin's Star Fighter is painted, where his is yellow Mace's is purple.

There were four different fighters shown on screen during ROTS. Anakin flew two, Obi-Wan flew two. Each had a different color sceme. Either do a web search for screen grabs or get creative!

I've seen the Republic Star Destroyer for about $35 at Greatmodels.com

The republic star destroyer, over here in Ireland in comic and model shops about €35 or $40ish, but I have seen it included in a 4 pack set for about €28 or  $32/ 33ish, I don't know if thats logical, the norm or just Irish humor, i.e its cheaper to be torture yourself on four.

Regards,

Terry.

That's pretty neat. Which kit is that? Is it airbrushed?
