Perfect Grade Zaku II - in need of fix
Posted by dj898 on Monday, March 20, 2006 9:39 PM
not the best picture I'm afraid and this is the only one not shaken...
(taking picture at the middle of night does that to you...)
Taken at the kitchen under Halogen lighting...

this was finished quite some time ago (was trying to emulate the one I saw in HJ) though I only added the weathering recently...
need to add some finishing touch and then build its weapons as I haven't start 'em yet...

p.s. I will see whether I can take another picture with white background and better lighting - at night. :p
and I still need to finish off S-Gundam and Zeta plus... Phew...

p.p.s. anyone know how to fix the shoulder pieces to hold the head assembly in place? While taking it off and on the parts became bit loose and won't hold the head assembly with small tabs at both sides... if you've built PG Zaku you'll know what I'm talking about... :D

Unfortunately I don't.

Know how to fix them that is. I trimmed the pins on mine at a bit of an angle to help them slide on and you'll need to remove any paint (or else they're just too tight). I still have to fuss alot with mine to get them in place right.

It's a poor connection. They wanted to make the head/neck removable so you could get to the batteries and have those opening front pieces. Just too much going on. Perhaps some shaving of the torso mounts would help.
