Greetings all;

Not big into figures but I like a challenge once in awhile.  Please feel free to helpfully critique the old boy.  I did him some years back for my oldest sons.   The skull on the deck is from the old 1/12 "Big Red Baron"  Modified T-Bucket Dragster though I think the skull is closer to 1/20 so it fits here pretty well. Enjoy!

Stephen,
Great job on this kit. Nice touch with the severed arm. As far as the kit goes....ya gotta love those dreadlocks.

Once again, great job.

I got this kit a couple years back and every 5-6 months I pull it out and work on it some then put it back up for another 5-6 months so at this rate I'll have mine done in about 6 years

Great Looking Stephen!!! Did it come as Predetor 2 or did you modify the original kit? Those dreadlocks are one of the main reasons I haven't started mine yet, but someday I guess I will work up the nerve.

Greetings all;

Thanks for the kind  words. Yes it was the Predator 2 kit.  As I remember the dreds were easy but just a  bit teadious.  So I spread it out over a three day period doing just about ten at a time. I also drilled their sockets out in thy skull to have a good anchoring.

Thanks for the info Stephen. I had only known of the original Predator kit, didn't know they had modified and reboxed it after Predator 2. May have to hunt one down for my collection.

Thanks again,

Keith

This guy has some serious gaps that need filling, but thats all part of being a modeler.

Yes he does, he also lacks locator pins so when you have him all taped together trying to keep him with the fewest gaps possible the parts tend to slip. Which is very irritating

Thanks for the kind words.  What would you say folks...the best way to do a good figure is to pick one that begins with fine sculpting and good details?
