Yeah I think there is just enough room to get some fiber optics in there, I hope anyway... The Aves is the same way you can work it with water to a glassy smooth surface. If you take your time there is little to no clean up when your done.

I've never tried Aves, but I use Maigicsculpt. I like it because it smoothes with plain water. Its nice for complex curvy areas. Are you going to light the cockpit?

Thanks Leon. The tub was sculpted in two parts out of Aves to get the basic form and fit to the inside of the kit. After it dryed it was detailed with styrene. The figure is just a reworked and detailed kit part. This pic shows the parts a little better:

Thanks. I'm done with the R2 and started correcting the intakes and preping the engines for lights. Then it'll be off to detail the rest of the surface.
