Hi Guys ( and Gals )

Hope you can help but I'm looking for plans of the Tripods from The best musical ever. Have just been to see the War of the Worlds musical that has just toured the UK and it's AMAZING. Got my juices flowing to build a Tripod but not one of those kits from Comet Minitures. I fancy scratchbuilding one about 3 to 4ft tall and could do with some line drawings and pictures. Any ideas people, especially web sites would be a  great help. ThanksThumbs Up [tup]

This is a download for a card model.  You could probably scale it up or down to any size you want.

I did find a Martian Tripod on the Net. It is a nice metal and easily assembled display that looks good when completed. You can buy more Martian’s to people the area. Other then painting the model, the only major change I did was to vac-u-form the canopy. The stock canopy was unacceptable and the replacement is much clearer. Now you can see the Martian I’ve put in the model.

It isn’t 3 to 4 feet tall but it is still nice. I wish I could remember what web site I got it from.
