Sci-Fi just announced a new sister sieries for Battle Star Galactica.
Called "Caprica" it is set over fifty years in the past and tells the story of the Adama family and the development of the "Cylon" race of "living" machines. It hints at how they were developed and the eventual revolt of the Cylons. The show is slated for this fall.
Steven Spilberg is producing a live action Transformers movie and he's taking it very seriously. Look for Star Scream to be either a F-22 Raptor or the new Joint Strike Fighter, Megatron possibly an M1A1 Abrams. An Optimus Prime a Mack truck (of course). A preview may accompany the new Superman Movie this July. The movie is slated for '07.
