Lucas (re)releases unfettered Star Wars trilogy

Well, 20th Century Fox is releasing the original uneditted version. Lucas has protested it but can't do anything about it.

FINALLY !!!! I dont care for the special edition versions, if you cant make CGI look real dont use it. There is also music changes in return that i hate and empire it ruins the suprise that luke is his father. Also many other changes i dont like too.

Cant wait to get it.

Those guys are getting richer and richer.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. I should have invested on those stocks.

Screw him.  I own 3 "official" versions and two "bootleg" (recorded from sci-fi network) of the original trilogy.  I have the DVD and VHS copies of the special edition version, and the remastered theatircal release from about 10 years ago on VHS.  Personally, I prefer the special edition versions. Sorry George, I'm not biting.

so whens the 15 disk box set coming out

or are there going to be more to come out like a Shadows of the Empire cartoon (i hope)

This mand really know how to pick our money time after time... Maybe his next release will be a 'reedited' first trilogy, only with maquettes and no CGI and where we go again buy the same thing we have...

I was watching the G4TV channel and they siad that a 3D version of the original version Star Wars was or may be coming out in 2007.  Is it me or is Star Wars the only things he can come up with.  He stalled out with the Indiana Jones movies.  I wish someone would come up with another story line.  It seems that most movies coming out are either remakes or based on TV series.  By the way, I still enjoy watching all the Star Wars movies but a little variety in stories at the movies would be nice. 

Lucas himself deffinetly has issues, hes been wearing the same plaid shirt for thirty years lol, but I sill like his movies.
