NCC-1701 (REFIT)/NCC-1701-A TRUE BASE COLOR???

Could someone please help me out here.  I need to know what the best way to get the true base color for the movie Enterprise (Constitution Refit).  I read an article at Starship Modeler where the writer suggests using a base of 75/25 flat white/RAF interior green.  This seems insane to me.  I can see a couple of drops of blue in the white but RAF green?

Any ideas on this or is this RAF Green/white concoction the way to go?
