Fish-Head, Panzer, youre right on the money!  I had the image from Roboterkampf up on the screen when I painted her and you can see some detail differences in how we painted her up, namely the amount of "cloth" used vs. "metal".

Im really happy with this figure. She came with a set of "loincloth" armor like on the "real" SAFS suit but I decided not to use it. Currently she is on display at the Baton Rouge Bluebonnet Regional Library with a club display, and believe me, as uptight as folks are around here about anything "prudish" I would be hearing commments /complaints from staff ( I was just in to check the display)if they were uncomfortable with her there in the central display case.  I hang out over at Hobbyfanantics web forum, and they do full nude stuff there sometimes that you cant display at an IPMS sanctioned event unless you have your curtains and monitors set up.  Great stuff, you just cant show it unless you are at Wonderfest or someplace like that.

I find several girls on there that I like but its just a matter of cost and the HLF and Rainbow10 preorder that puts me off.

Unfortunatly all too many of the "Gal" type kits out there are kinda sleazy I wish there were more lil cuties like this one then I could build and display them Proudly without lookin like some kind of pervo. I like cute not the almost pornish ones you see too oftenDisapprove [V]

PatlaborUnit1

That girl really is a sweet little model all in all, I think... Kinda whimsical without getting smutty.

I've seen her built and done up on one other place:  http://www.roboterkampf.com/roboterhtml/htmlmakvis/makgirl.htm

I like looking at yours and comparing to the other girl figger... It give the "NEW vs. IN SERVICE" comparison.  As for yours, the colors are really cool.  She looks like she's modelling for a designer set!

Hope you don't mind, but am sticking them side-by-side here for fun:

SUH-Weet! Im liking this. Wish the kit looked this good, it looks pretty stiff pose and not that great in the resin.

Great image,Im looking forward to more ideas. I first considered purple hair and blue eyes but I might just change my mind now!

You have the book? Cool! She is not from the Gundam world, shes a Kow original, I believe the original sculpts were only avialable at WonderfestJapan some time back, I found her on Ebay.

I checked Ebay the other night and saw what looked like a RickDom girl and another, but I really couldnt tell which Century she was from.

Would love to see more of the Gundam girls, Ive never seen the book! :-)

Thanks for the feedback.
Yeah, I dont have a great photo editing software program and I really dont know much about how to do that kind of thing, so I pretty much got rid of the glare from the lights and lost a lot of the actual color.  Her skin is actually pretty well shaded with four different tones, it just doesnt show up here, like her eyes dont show thier highlights, that dissappeared as well, and the Amethyst is vibrant.  Im learning tho! Ill get these pictures figured out yet! :)

great job, looks awesome.  excellent job on the eyes.  the skin tone could use a little more red though, i think.  she looks a little pasty.  could just be the pic.

SAFS girl Hybrid--my first large resin kit!
Posted by PatlaborUnit1 on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 10:33 PM
Hi everyone

here is my SAFS girl hybrid, from the Ma.K. universe. I found her online and knew I had to have her, and I was not dissappointed. Great fit, she stands about 9 inches tall, only a bit of epoxy putty needed at the hairline.  I finished her with Model Master paints and Reaper wargaming paints, and put her on a heart shaped base adorned with a ripped heart, cuase this cutie is a heartbreaker!!

She is my first Anime style figure, my first Manga style eyes and my first large scale resin figure.   Im really happy with her!   Got a RX-78 Gundam Girl to go.........
Anyone know where I can find more of these?????
