Looking for a Maschinen Vehicle...
Posted by Fish-Head Aric on Thursday, June 29, 2006 6:33 PM

Yo people!  Anyone out there have a Maschinen Krieger vehicle model (NOT A SUIT) that they can spare?

I got a bad want to build one in a dio that has it battle-damaged and left to rot in the waste.  I've seen several and like them all, so am not particular... Except I would rather not do the Nutrocker unless I need...

Thanks?

Well, the only one that I can think of is the Krackenvogel, and to be honest, they are way too rare for someone to just give away, Looking at around $100-$150 just to get your hands on...

Other than that, there is the "Krote", which is like an ATST, "Hornisse", and the "Nutrocker".. But although more common, still pricy kits... I am no expert, but have a friend in the States that I keep an out for here in Japan, as he collects them..

Good luck in your search...

Chris

I have no problem going on the upside toward $100 for something really distinctive if that includes shipping.  I have seen the Nutrocker for $9.99, but it lacks character.  In any case, I havfe seen these and really like:

  • Wave Ma.K. SF3D 1/20 Gans
  • Maschinen Krieger Kröte
  • Maschinen Krieger PK 41 Hornisse
  • Feldermaus ?

I have also seen something called a "Doll House", and another thing that looks like an evolution from a WWI big-track tank.

Anyone have anything like these they might want to make a deal for?

$9.99 for the Nutrocker.. Thats good.. Looking at atleast $20-$25 above for that one here.. Krote, and Hornisse usually around $30 +... Are they easy to get over there in the States?

Cant say I have heard of the Dolls House though... Sounds like a cool design though..

It seems anything besides the regular suits is a challenge to find in the states.

Check this link  http://home.att.net/%7Emak3000/hm.html  per an old MaK thread in these forums...

This is where I first heard about MaK.  I have no interest really in the storylines or such, I just like the looks of the gadgetry and want to do a sci-fi dio of one of their equipment as abandoned, damaged beyond easy repair, and wasting away.

IIRC there was never a Dollhouse kit make. Brian Kruger has scratched one.
