Return of "Supercarrier"

I don't know who will remember this, but this was part of a ST Group Build a while ago. I put it away for a while 'cause I was sick of it. Well I decided to pull it back out and spray the base color. Here she is: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v72/ussarcadia/carrierbase.jpg

Another shot with an Ent. E: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v72/ussarcadia/carrierandE.jpg

Scale is 1/2500th.

I maybe wrong but I think he used a Naboo fighter for the secondary hull.

Thanks guys.

In know, I know, it IS about time. I just needed a break. How ya doin Woody?

Rob the engines actually clear the plane of the launch bays, you just can't see it from these shots. It was an issue while building and I went thru a few struts trying to "bend" them to the right angle. Yes the secondary hull was the main fuselage of a Hasbro Naboo fighter. Saucer is the D from the 2500th ERTL 3-piece set. Engines were kindly donated by Chris(Ravenstar) Lynch.

I plan on using Dave Tomita's D set( I have two sets) which has the aztec. Jason Caldwell has offered help on spplimental decals including name/registry.

Schweet!  I vaguely remember seeing pics of this a while back.  VERY nice job!  You outta look in to kitting that.  Seriously!

Again, very nice job!  Bet she'll look sharp once she's all gussied up!  :)

Oooh!  You outta show pics of her at The 2500 Page Forums!  The fellas over there would love to see it, I'm sure!  And we're even having an unofficial context that you could prolly enter her in.  Check out the A challenge of galactic proportions thread for details.

Thanks Jeff. I don't think I'm going to kit this one. Its kinda bulky and would have to be dismantled some to make any molds(plus having Chris's engines). There are also a few flaws that don't show up in pics but bother me. It would have to be closer to perfect for me to give out to cast up.

I think I may enter that contest, but want to get a bit farther first. Will also post over at SSM.

Thanks again.
