i'm seeing more panzer parts here:

that looks like a standard german ww2 tank jack in the lower left.

Well, that and 1/48 and 1/72 just becaue the finemolds stuff and the b-wing and y-wing come in the same scale as ertl stuff.

I have this kit... and it is worth the $$ if you are a studio scale fan. Keep in mind that the studio scale Y-wing being offered by Master Replicas costs $700... although that one is painted and is not a kit.

Yep, I know what you mean, but I saved up and now I have one, it is worth it! 5 pounds of resin! A little over $300.00 for it all plus you get a CD for the directions too and other pics.

I`ll have to look around for Wedges pics, i havent researched it yet.

I have seen red 2 painted exactly like red5 minus the 3 extra marks. Do you have some screen shots to show exactly how it will be painted. I had a link here to my old ertl kit on here, allways wanted a CC x-wing  but never wanted to fork out the cash for it.

Smile [:)] nah! it`ll be the red2 (Wedges) ship, too many people are doing red 5, as soon as i get power to my building and a work bench I will start building again, I need power to run my air compressor in order to use my airbrush and to have lights and a bench to work on.

Yes you are right, the CC is for a man called Captain Cardboard that made the studio scale X-wing master.

I think it is the Captain Cardboard Studio scale model.  It is the same scale as what they used in the films
