Don't forget to check out the other anime related kits out there, besides mecha. There are alot of series that are just as interesting. How about some of the resin figure kits from some of the non-mecha related anime? I do alot of the Gundam kits and have checked out some others, and have found more subjects that are just as interesting and fun.

They have a couple.....Atlas and a Vulture I believe

A better question is:
Why does everyone assume that mecha can only come from Japan?
What I want to see, are some more AMERICAN mecha models! When will we BTech fans get our Timberwolf? Or our Atlas? WE WANT BATTLETECH MODELS!!! Academy, or Revell Monogram, if you read these forums, BUY THE RIGHTS TO MAKE BATTLETECH MODELS!!!

Anyone taken a look at this guy http://www.marcsmodels.com He's a little pricey but seems to have a good lead on the older macross stuff. I have done business with him a couple of times when I cant find what I want on ebay. I am going through my dougram phase again and just bought a 1/48 JAKT (BT:Shadow hawk) and 1/48 Iron Foot (BT:Thunderbolt). Check him out if you want. Big Smile [:D]

At Hobby Link Japan (hlj.com) they have a 1/72 VF-1 Super battroid listed as comming out in March. I have not heard anything about the VF-0 but it would make sense.

I'm on the waiting list for that HG kit. Although the price was a bit high, I missed the first release of these kits and I just had to have this one. Black Eye [B)]

I'd love to see Bandai release HG stuff! Approve [^]

If they were to have the same quality as their Gundam kits, the HG stuff would be awesome. Cool [8D]

How the hell can I convince my girlfriend to let me buy that sucker!
Especially since I'd need to pre-order it, but the money won't come off the card until it is shipped.

Agreeing to let them take $250 off my credit card whenever they feel like it is a big trust issue.

I think that fusion has rereleased the1/35 Kodiak for a limited time.

How about they cover some of the SF3D/Ma.k kits that are out there. I guess we had the 80's and the sci-fi stuff. Smile [:)]

Well, Gundam is certainly one of the most accessible. I'm personally waiting for Bandai to do Heavy Gear. They own the license, Fusion took their resin kits off the market to make room for the HG kits, but Bandai never made them.

Plus I heard that they were not going to be model kits, just toys. Ick.

I was happy to see FSM cover mecha kits on the April 2002 issue, but FSM surely knows that there's more out there than just Gundam!?!
Considering the excellent job that Hasegawa and Bandai are doing on other mecha kits (Macross, Evangelion, Mazinger Z, Cowboy Bebop, Nadesico, Grandizer, Aura Battler Dunbine, Gaiking, etc.) , I'm surprised FSM hasn't reviewed them. [:0]
I recently introduced some friends at my local hobby shop to the Hasegawa kits and they were completely delighted and awed at the quality. What was surprising is that they are not necessarily into scifi, yet they started buying them kits like they were going out of style. Wink [;)]

And speaking of Hasegawa, anybody knows what's next on their Macross line? Cool [8D]
