Dad/son build pics
Posted by Wulf on Saturday, August 26, 2006 2:32 PM

Hello all,

These are some pics of our Dad/son build. It's the AMT X-wing. He is a huge StarWars fan and plan to do some other kits. He did some of the airbrushing on this one and helped with the weathering. Comments always welcomed........

Looks great. What color did you use for the base coat? I have been experimenting with several shades of gray but haven't been happy with any of them so far. I ended up painting my X-wing in Flying Tigers colors since I was painting up a P-40 B at the time.

That looks great. On my flight diplay X-wing that didn't come with a pilot, I used testors camoflauge gray. I actually forgot how goofy looking the pilot was, since mine didnt come with one I just blacked out all the windows.
