Bandai Enterprise E October release (Japan)
Posted by J-Hulk on Monday, August 25, 2003 7:24 AM
Hi, folks!Smile [:)]

Just picked up the October issue of Hobby Japan, and came across an article heralding the September release of Bandai's 1/1700 Enterprise E lighted and pre-painted kit. 40 centimeters long!
List price here in Japan is 7,500 yen ($64 US). No idea when it'll be released overseas or what the pricing will be like, but I'm sure it won't be long after the Japanese release.

I saw this kit on display at the Shizuoka Hobby Show, and it looked really good. Smile [:)]

Heck, I just finally got around to picking up the 1701-A! Wink [;)]

edit: I give up with this forum code stuff......:)

Good suggestions, guys!Smile [:)]
I'll just go pick one up down the street, and save 100% on the shipping!Wink [;)]

Do these kits ever show up on hobby shop shelves overseas? Or is it all speciality import shop deals?
I thought Bandai had a pretty solid international distributorship established.

Check HLJ's price on the kit compared to a U.S. retailer's price. Shipping or not, it's often still cheaper to go through them.

;)

J-Hulk Bandai is fairly heavily distributed world wide, so when you say "overseas" are you referring to areas other than North America?

Hi, Jackal!Smile [:)]
I live in Japan, so when I say "overseas," I mean anywhere outside of Japan. Sorry for the confusion!Approve [^]
