Hey jinithith2, It's a monster that's for sure! Many of the parts are small clear windows & grills? so yeah, it'll be fun to work with.

I would ever get one but, a lady friend of mine knew how much I wanted it & got it for my B-day!! Yes!! It will be a fun buildTongue [:P]

When I had gotten the NX-01 I didn't know what I was getting into & when that arrived I fell over when I opened it up! Then the refit, well, I had a pretty good idea but still! This IS Huge!! I now need to make up a list of stuff so I don't run out in the middle of this buildWhistling [:-^]

My 2 biggest questions  regarding these are:

1) When can I find time to start building them? and

2) Where the heck am I gonna display them?!

Those are the main ones now but, I'm sure that once I do start building, I'll have plenty of questions.

I tell you what, Eddie, you're a better man than I to ope that up.  As I said in email, the looking and fondling parts aspect isn't bad, but the whole putting it back in the box thing intimidates me.  I'm also in the same boat you are where display space is concerned.  Wife is going to let me display it in the living room if I light it and make it all purty 'n' such.  Shock [:O]  I might have to start on the 1/350 NX-01 first to at least get an idea of how to light a model, having never done so in the past w/the exception of the old ERTL "Lights & Sounds" Refit kit.

The other problem is the whole time constraints thing.

Space and time - a modelers worst enemies.... [#dots]

Hey Griff, It was fun getting the refit back in the box. Just gotta be smarter than the boxWhistling [:-^]

Seeing how I am living by myself, with the xception of a Psycho Kitty, I have my choice of where to display it. Just a matter of finding the time to do some building.... That's a rare thing around here these days.

As for lighting up the 1/350 NX-01, That oughtta be an easy task. THere's been a few done up already.

And most all of them that I've seen have been very nicely done.  There's also at least one lighting kit made specifically for the PL NX kit, as well.  A bit pricey at around $50, but if you want a sweet lookin' kit and are electronically inept like me, a good solution.  I think the only one on the market right now is available thru Federation Models

Although the lighted kits are great & impreesive, I wont be doing either of minw with lights as

I really don't have the patience to work with electronics. Let alone electrical... could be a hair raising experience....
