It's been a while sence I posted anything new, well I guess it's been awhile sence I've had anything new...

Heres a little scratch built 1:72 scale T16 Skyhopper. Started or should say restarted yesterday and I just finished up with the building side of it today.

That looks great. was it hard to get all the reference material you needed to build it? considering it never really was in any of the movies.

Actualy it was. The model Luke is playing with in A New Hope is the studio model. There where some really good pics of it published at one time however I don't remember the book.

Woody your wish is my commandBig Smile [:D] There are some pics in this folder of the test run, they are the ones still in white styrene. It looked to game / toy like so I rebuilt it.

Thanks guys, I'll post up pics when I get one finished.

Sorry I missed this one maxx.. That is pretty cool. And yes I do remember Luke playing with it.. I would never have thought to scratch one, and especially in 1/72 scale, so that makes it even cooler..

I completely forgot about that scene, which is suprising considering I was watching it at my hobby shop yesterday. I have allways admired your excellent work, and this is no exception. BTW how's that ertl enterprise comming?

It's easy to do, it's just a quick flash and he sets it down. Yeah...the TOS project...well ah...sadly about how you saw it last. So many projects, so little time to spend on them allSigh [sigh]

I set up the hopper on it's own page for easier viewing. Once I get a sample to paint I'll post it up on that page.
