I know that I saw an old bob model for sale on a website the other day. It must have been a garage kit though, as i was checking out a bunch of garage kit websites at the time. It looked pretty good though. Thanks for that link too cobywan. Excellent site.

It was on Cult-TV Man's website.

Thanks for all the input guys. I guess I was trying to confirm that the 3 kits I own/owned were all that was made. For some reason I thought there might have been a B.O.B., but I was obviously mistaken.

I recall that someone in either an old model magazine (Military Modeler or Fine Scale Modeler) or maybe on www.starshipmodeler.com had done an accurizing job on the Cygnus. The gothic look of the Cygnus' open framing would be difficult to replicate (tedious to say the least), but would look extremely cool if done.

S.T.A.R.! That's it! I always thought that was a pretty cool design.

I still get a kick out of watching that movie. Can't recall what the cyborgs were called (if anything), but the main one was calles S.T.A.R. Would love to see all of those old kits brought back, though.

I got all three in the closet. ;)

I heard that an "Old BOB" was in the works as a garage kit.

I thought a great idea for the Cygnus would be to cast the main hull in clear resin and have photoetched brass made to create the trusswork over it. The resin then could be lit from the inside.

I had all 3 kits at one time. It was just the Cygnus, VINCENT and Maximillian. The Cygnus usually goes for $100.00 or more when it appears on Ebay.

Hey, guys!Smile [:)]
I still got 'em all (well, back in the States)! I believe there were only three MPC kits (The big ship Cygnus, which came with a little Palamino, Maximillian, and V.I.N.C.E.N.T.).
Too bad, cuz I really liked those sentry robots (can't recall their names).

There may be some garage kits out there.

Wouldn't take much to turn V.I.N.C.E.N.T. into B.O.B., would it? You'd have to work on your Slim Pickens accent, though!Wink [;)]

I saw an ad on a website for the old banged up robot just yesterday. I can't for the life of me remember where it was though. I was just surfing around looking for vinyl figure finishing tips and ran across it. I just happen to have watched the movie the other day. It's still pretty entertaining. I bet the Maximillian was a mean looking little kit. He had a sinister air about him. The cygnus was a beautiful ship as well. Good luck finding BOB.

Did any of you have kits from this movie? I had the large space ship, the Cygnus and the evil robot Maximillian when I was a kid. I still have Maximillian and the instructions and bits and pieces of the Cygnus.

I recently found the V.I.N.CENT good robot on Ebay. The kit was still sealed and in mint condition. I think I got a great deal. Does anyone know if there was a fourth kit? Maybe of the banged up robot B.O.B.? My box side only shows Max & Cygnus.
