I'm not ikar01, but I can point you in the direction of at least one aftermarket hangar kit. Propeller [8-]

Don's Light & Magic sells an ST:V style hangar bay kit, as well as Travel Pods and Workbee's.  You can also purchase ST:V shuttlecraft and travel pods for that kit from Federation Models, look under "Products" and click on "Federation Models".  As an added bonus, most of the DLM line of AM products are also available thru FedMods.

HTH,

She is a monster, isn't she?  Iv'e got one but don't have anywhere to but her once she's built.  I'm planning on puting in an aftermarket hanger bay with a couple shuttles once I start.  It does beg for lighting especially with the rec deck visible.  I have to find someone who can help with that.  Then I can start my NX class starship.  Good luck

Thanks. I plan on having fun with this one. Debating right now as to whether or not I want to wire it for lights. I've never done alot of wiring to light scale models before....and this kit is an absolute beast scale wise. Decisions, decisions! Confused [%-)]

Laugh [(-D]  You'll have fun with this build & yea, this is a Monster sized kit as I got mine not too long ago. It begs to be lit but, I am no good at wiring so, I wont be lighting mine.

Thumbs Up [tup] Its finally here! The Holy Grail of sci-fi modelers (at least for me anyway Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg] ). About 11:00 A.M EST I received a HUGE, and I do mean HUGE package from my friendly snail mail carrier. (I should be at work, but I'm stranded with a car that won't start from a frozen battery. Grumpy [|(] ) Getting this kit really made an otherwise crummy day just a little bit brighter. I plan to post progress reports and pics as I begin to tackle assembling the Big E. Let's see now....where did I leave my glue and paints? Whistling [:-^]
