Actually, the "Revenge of the Sith"is one of the better cutaway books,it shows the triangle shaped displays,on each side of the cockpit, that are not included in the kit,but all the colors are not correct, your best bet is the DVD,and try to find a happy medium, between the filming model, and the full sized mock-up as the detail in these usally differ quite a bit.

It's science fiction isn't it? With "fiction" being the operational word here, can't you do what looks good to you?

The problem with those "Incredible Cross Section" books is that they are mostly made up stuff created to sell the books. They were written years after the movies came out, and I doubt the colours represented in them are anything like the ones used on the original models.

Edit: Sorry, I just realised you're talking about "Revenge of the Sith". I'm not sure how accurate that one is, as it probably came out just weeks after the film.

I had the same problem,I ended up using the Dvd,freeze frame and zoom,to capture screen shots, and a book, that had color drawing cutaways,of the vehicles from Revenge of the Sith,I can't recall the books title, but they made one for every episode.

Anyone have any resources for a painting guide for this kit. I would like to get some accuracy in the cockpit.
