Hi BlackOps

Im really sincerely flattered that you were inspired to hit the benches. Now the MS18, despite its short amount of time on screen, is fast becoming one of my faves due to the mechanical design and flowing curves.

Yes, this looks like the 1/144 scale kit. If you are looking for decal options, I just got my Samuel decals in from www.samueldecal.com  He has two MS18 marking options, a plain version with numbers, chevrons and plenty of Zeon heraldry in yellow and white, and another option for a custom marked machine with cool artwork.  You can get them in all popular scales.

If you have not seen Samuel Decals before, his page takes for-EVER to load up (must be his server, cause it happens to everyone) but it is full color artwork shown on the page so you can see what you are getting, and he takes Paypal. Ship time to the US is around 21 days, but it is about the only game in town. Gundam, AOZ, Keroro,5SS,Votoms, etc etc etc on his site that he has decals for.

Thanks again! Have a great day and keep us posted with the rest of the build!

David

Gundam Build

After being inspired by David's (PatlaborUnit1) recent build I realized I have a gundam I bought and put together about five years ago. Don't still have the box so I don't know the scale or which kit it is but it stands about 8" tall and seems to be the same basic figure as David's. Mine was molded in teal so I gave him a coat of primer, he looks like he's going to need a bit of putty work and light sanding but covering the teal sure makes it look better.

I'm thinking either an overall tan or OD green finish maybe with Marine Corp markings. Here's a few pics of the primer going on, you can still see the teal in these pics.
