You can read about it here:http://squaremodels.netfirms.com/viper.htm

Sean has lots of other cool models on the site so check them out too.

I believe that they were.

That launch tube looks interesting, are there any plans for making it?

sorry but the re-release will have the missile launcher option deleted from the kit same with the Cylon Raider. BTW these are 1/32 scale kits right?

I'm planning on putting one in a launch tube like this:

And maybe even lighting the engines.

I am waiting patiently for this reissue as well, I built one as a kid, complete with the missle launcher in the nose. It should be fun to build it again.

Not to mention, the re-issued Viper is going to be re-tooled so that it has a cockpit this time instead of the solid canopy with black decals for the glazing of old.

I am very much looking forward to this kit being about again.

The f4 is the RF-4C version. The last recon model before they retired them. this is the link
http://www.topedge.com/panels/aircraft/sites/kopack/ms-rf-4c.html
I'll re-decal its for the 186 TRG "Magnolia Militia"

yea I would wait on the BSG models since they will be reissued. I can't wait to get started on something sci-fi again. I've gotten bored waiting on the f4 so i started making something from my spare parts box
BTF Delorean body, with Mig-15 wings and stabalizers, cannons, and Mitsu GTO wheels.
I found the VTF kit at a thrift store for 99 cents, missing some parts but the body and flux capasitor was there. I'll have to post pics of the progress.

A cople days ago I was in a hobby shop and when I looked down at the counter there was a 2007 Revell catalog opened up to a page showing that some of the Battlestar kits are being re-issued this year (probably late in the year).

I read on starshipmodelers.com that these kits are going to be reissued. Why spend the ebay amounts when you can wait a bit and buy the reissue?

That Viper kit will most likely be over $60 before the bidding ends! Alien [alien]

[Admiring Starbuck's space fighter] Cassiopeia: It's a perfect machine! Born to dance amongst the stars! Starbuck: Yeah, it's bumping into them that has me worried.

well I got lucky a couple years back and got a 1/32 scale Hasegawa F-16 A/C for 20 bucks on Ebay. But what F-4 did you get the Airforce E or the Navy Showtime 100.

well it was actually 44.00 plus shipping.
hehe it is 1/32 monogram out of production 80s models. F-4s are hard to find in that scale now-a-days.
I'm redecaling it to my dad's squadron for his father's day gift ;-)
I'd love to get a viper and start on it after I'm done with that.

You paid 50 bucks for a F-4 kit!!! what the heck was it a 1/32 scale Tamiya F-4?

and that is pretty tempting but I am saving up for some LED's :P
