Maybe that's what the Federation had in mind. Confuse the heck out of the Romulans to sneak by.Big Smile [:D]

Looks good sofar, rossjr. I hope my custom starships turn out half as good as yours is shaping up to be.

That is going to turn out nice! How many starships do you have in your fleet now?

I'm stuck right now trying to figure out what to use for registry and a name. I want to stick with what I have to work with on the decal sheet...

I was going to make a version of the kit using NCC 64 (USS Constellation) as the registry. I live in San Diego and the Conny just got towed to Bremerton to go into mothballs... Sort of a tribute.

Might be a little off using USS Constellation, since she was one of the original Constitution class cruisers, along with the Enterprise. If you were working a diferent time period it may be OK, but it looks like you're working a TOS vessel. I would suggest going into the thesaurus and finding some synonyms for words describing either its' function(i.e. Daring, Swift, etc) or you could make it an earlier version of a current class (perhaps the Defiant? Her assets are small size and high speed as well). Just my 2 pence.

Just finishing the last coats of clear, I seem to be having a problem with fogging when using my clear flat. I am wondering if it is because I am using Mineral Spirits to thin it as it is the only change I have made in my process, that or I have a bad bottle of clear flat....

I decided to go with the USS Rise, NCC-701....

Looks nice!

I seem to recall something about locating warp nacelles co-planar with ship modules. Perhaps it interferes with maintaining the warp field. But hey, the Enterprise we see today is an upside down version of the original proposal. Keep up the imagination! It's the real fuel for our field.

Regarding names, I would check references of past runners and privateers. For example, Hunley and Merrimack, while not blockade runners, were utilized to attack blockade ships.
