My 1/2500 USS Jenolin Sydney Class Starship
Posted by Admiral Grasshopper1 on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 9:28 PM

Hello I wanted to share this with everyone,I have been busy trying to get caught up with the model kits I have left sitting unfinished. So I put together, weathered and decalled the model kit.

This is an original TM Lindsey Sydney Class Starship which is long out of production now. It is 1/2500 scale. I tried to paint it and weather it as close to the pics available for this online, which all I found was 2. There were no decals for this when I got it. The Manufacturer started to make them, then they got hit by Hurricanes and have been unable to make them at present along with this fine kit.

I would like to thank Jay Curtiss for the Nacelle Decals and the side markings he sent my daughter Amanda. For those of you who don't know Jay,he goes by Cozmo on here I believe.

I made the Registry and Name decals for the top of the ship from scratch using my font set I have for Star Trek and Adobe Photoshop CS to resize them to fit the model.

I am Very Pleased with how this turned out,and now it is finished. Enjoy the pics:

Great job!  It looks tiny, how big is it?

Not a problem.  You deserve the praise for a job well done, especially for such a tiny build!
