It does look pretty cool. Do you happen to know the dimensions of the finished kit? At that scale, it has to be pretty big.

Yeah, I'll probably get it. I've passed on the -E, but that's just cuz I'm not so crazyy about the design. I really like the NX-01, though.

As far as dimensions go, I haven't seen anything yet. It probably is written on the box in the pic, but I can't see it.

Didn't someone say Polar Lights will release a 1/350 NX-01? Now, that sucker'd be a desktop-full!

demon069,

at the 1/850 scale, the finished Bandai NX-01 kit will be about 10 inches long. Slightly shorter than the Bandai Enterprise Refit. It's the Polar Lights 1/350 kit that is going to be huge at almost 2.5 feet long.

Here's a link to Monsters-in-Motion for a pre-order at 49 dollars. It's 1/350 and the kit will be 24 inches long.

I was a bit off on the size. Here's the link from Polar Lights site

Here's a link showing how large the Polar Lights NX-01 will be at 1/350 scale. Look at the first picture of a guy holding the prototype.

It'll give you some idea of how much shelf space you're gonna need when the other ships start rolling out at that scaleCool [8D]
