I bought a kit from a video game called StarCraft. I know nothing about the game, the "look" of the armored infantry trooper Marine intrigued me. The kit was made by Academy and is from Blizzard Entertainment.
The scale of the kit is 1/30th, but I thought this type of kit could be a good starter kit for kids wanting to get into the hobby. Much like those low-end Gundam kits. My only thought is after seeing the big, honking gun that the Marine comes with as well as a giant snakelike creature with big claw arms, that this game may not be geared towards younger children. Looks like one of those "kill the monster" games.
Neat kit that comes with three marking options for 2 different generic soldiers and one 1st Lt. McMasters.
I'll have to look for some more of these guys.
