There's never enough Sci-Fi being posted so here's my Fine Molds 1/72 Y-Wing. What a fun build!

That's a beautiful Y-Wing you have there! I've heard Fine Molds did a good job with this kit hiding panel lines and such. Your wash brings out the all the little details nicely!

Model building isn't about patience, it's about passion.

Nice work. I'm working on a three foot scratch build of that very ship, right now. W00t!

I was on the fence about buying one of those for myself, but yours looks so good I'm goin' for it.

Any 'heads up' on the build? Any difficulties I should be on the lookout for?

Thanks for the compliments! This kit, like the other Star Wars kits and the Porco Rosso kits are beautiful. They practically fall together! It's great when all the tubing and pipe parts fit exactly. The only hint would be to watch out for some of the smaller pieces. I lost one to the carpet but it was easy to fabricate a new piece of tubing from a paper clip. It's great fun to build!
