You real should give the small flourecents a shot. they're cheap and easy to use.

You know, I was thinking about this and I am going to consider it landed, I found a place that sells light sheet now, but I have already added about $70 in leds and fiber optics, to throw another $40 in for light sheet is starting to get a bit much.

I almost did not light this one, I lit the polar lights Enterprise NX-01 and the Refit and and when do I ever turn them on? Only when I'm rockin some classic trek on the TV and I want to get my geek on.

Besides my friends saying thats cool, or my wife telling me I'm such a geek but I love you anyways as she laughs I'm the only one that seems to trully appreciate it. Ah well it's done now.

It's just to make the two piece section out of the back into a one piece part. take the two part clear plastic and use it as a template to cut the clear plastic and make one section...

Edit: Doh! you said "Finemolds" I'm thinking AMT/MPC, sorry, my bad.

You could use flourecent lights. I found some at Home Depot that run off of a 6v, or 9v power supply. There's no need for HV as everything is included in the little package, they'll run off of batteries, or AC through an adapter. Check my 1/350th Enterprise thread to see what they look like. Also, I've got one of these I'm working on as well and I figured I was going to use Soda bottle plastic to make the back screen for the engines as one piece. Hope this helps. Looking forward to updates.

I decided to light this bad boy up, using leds with two sizes of fiber optics, larger ones for the spot lights and the small ones for the 'watch yer head' lights.

Some of the red lights I'm using blinking leds should be pretty cool when done, looks like a mess right now. Could'nt find any light sheet for the engines, but I think I will just say it is landed, so it won't matter. But I sure wish I had some for my enterprise refit for the front array.

I really got to finish that one.
