I am using a blister pack for a CD player as the basis for this starship. I filled it with 2 part expanding urethane foam:

Excellent! I love it! I'll be watching this closely. I love blister packs. I've gotten to the point where I stop the wife when she's about to throw one away, because I want to see if it has any cool shapes.

And it's a great idea to fill it with expanding foam.  What universe are you planning on having it be from, or is it your own design?

Good question, I'm curious about that as well. At this point it can go anywhere and fit into virtually genre.

Thanks everybody.

I havent thought what time or universe yet...if one of you has a good story line for this, then we will use it!

The reason I put foam inside the plastic blister was to stiffen it up from the inside while keeping it light. Also, I want to add lighting, so the foam will hold the wiring in place, too.

Here's the latest...working on the 3 warp-drive? engines and shroud...used egg containers for the exhaust nozzles:

In this configuration, it's kinda reminding me of the Proteus from Fantastic Voyage.

Man this is so cool.  I love the creativety!  Have you thought about the roll this ship plays in its "verse"?  Cruiser, freighter etc..

Looking forward to more progress!!
