That's pretty cool! I have a few of those kits, and I was thinking of collecting them all. I'll probably do it now that I can see how well your's built up.

Any 'heads up' on the build? Difficulties I should watch out for?

Nice weathering on the Mech's paint. How did you do it?

It was a pretty straight forward build - no major snags worth mentioning.

Weathering the arm involved scratching away the paint back to the primer with a small screwdriver. The elbow damage was done with my Dremel and then dry brushed with grey / silver to show the exposed metal.

It's explained more in the in-progress page I linked to in the first post.

D'oh! Dunce [D)]

The links were actually very helpful. Probably should have checked them out first. I hadn't realized you scratchbuilt the beam saber, and I have a much greater appreciation for your ground work.

I like it.

Have you seen the kit w/ the Gundam head in it? If you did, what did you think?

The one with the Zaku head do you mean? If so, I have it sitting in my pile to do. From what I can tell it is a extremely detailed kit and looks pretty involved yet simple to build.
