It helps. But I'd really hate to try and MAKE one of those arms. I was hoping for a copy or original. I had one guy offer an unbuilt but that seemed to have fallen through. I'd love to get those copies...c'mon Sunny. Go Sunny, uh, huh, go Sunny!

For now, he sits armless and forlorn.

I might have this kit on the shelf of unbuilts, if I do I will make copies and send em off.  I'll keep you posted.

"The Thing" Missing an Arm!
Posted by dahut on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 6:24 PM

Hi all!

I have gotten the Toy-Biz/Marvel kit of "the Thing," product code item no. 47781. He's my favorite Marvel character and I can just hear him saying, "It's clobberin' time!"

While looking over the kit I noted the right arm pieces are missing. These are kit part numbers 5 and 6. I have contacted the maker, but suspect that it is too old for them to have these parts. My questions, then, are these:

Does anyone have these parts available? Maybe as an old kit sitting on a shelf?

One idea I have is that I could use the parts to make resin copies and return them to you. Or just get the whole kit.

Maybe you or someone you know has an old built up that I could "unlimber"?

Perhaps someone has another idea?

Please put your collective mind together to help me out of this fix. The Thing and I would be grateful! Thanks.

Cheers, David
