My Klingon Friends
Posted by Admiral Grasshopper1 on Thursday, February 21, 2008 5:35 PM

Hello I have not posted any work in awhile,so here are some Klingon Friends I have completed here today. These turned out Great. First up we have the Jupiter Station 1/1000 D7M that I made Gorkon's ship from ST6. I want to thank Griffworks for making this kit possible and Matt Meyer for Mastering this Great and Awesome Kit,and to SSM for putting it out, thanks John and Linda. I would also like to thank Perfesser Coffee for the scan he sent me for the decals on this that I used my photoshop to resize for this kit.
Enjoy:

Next up is the Klingon Guardian of the Underworld 1/2500 kit that is also offered by SSM,this kit turned out great also. I modified it with a mega disrupter in the front of the ship. and I used parts from the AMT Battle Cruiser to modify the sides to add exhaust ports and I also used an impulse drive from the AMT ENTD to make and Impulse Engine port in the rear of the ship. It just looked so empty back there.

Enjoy:

Those turned out pretty darn good....

I was thinking of getting the few AMT Birds or Prey at my local Hobby Store...  that's all they have.... Not much ST stuff there.... beside the 1/350 Ent....

have you build those AMT kits before..?

Keep up the good work !!!

Do your photos posts like this:

Put the html identifier "img" in brackets before your photo hosting service tag, with the closing indentifier "/img" in brackets at the end. Brackets are these: [   ].  Make sure there are no spaces between any of these elements.

Then the pics will ppear in your post instead of as 'go to' links.

Cheers, David

Thanks for the advice, I knew how to do that, but I chose to make the pics links instead because there were so many. Thanks again.

Very nice job on those, George.  I especially like how your Q'onos Wah turned out!

Admiral Grasshopper1 - Very nice job.  Did you paint them with an airbrush?  I remember you said a couple of months ago you were planning on going to get an airbrush.  Those modes are very nice, great jobCool [8D]
