Well so far the response has been pretty enthuiastic! I am moving toward the first Wednesday of each month, and having the first meeting on June 4th @ the Steilacoom Public Library. I was thinking 6:30 pm, probably meet for an hour or so, kind of a meet-n-greet.

Keep sending emails or PM, or just reply to the thread. Let me know what YOU want out of a sci-fi club, my focus is on models and dioramas, but I'd love to be inclusive of all things sci-fi, whether it is props, or whatever! Let's keep the ball rolling!

Hello all!

I am beginning to gauge interest in starting a sci-fi modelers club in the Tacoma and Pierce County, Washington area.  I have been invited to a scifi club meeting in King County (Greater Seattle area), and is an hour drive each way!

I was thinking of a monthly get-together, maybe 1st Wednesday of the month or something like that?

The purpose would be to show off your work, talk about techniques, meet new friends, arrange group builds, share knowledge, and geek out!

If you even MIGHT be interested, please respond to this thread or PM me.  This is going to take quite a bit of work to organize, so I really need to see how much interest there is.
Thanks!
Chris
